Dr. William Baah-Boateng

Senior Lecturer, Economics, University of Ghana
Dr. William Baah-Boateng is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana. Currently on sabbatical, he is working at the African Centre for Economic Transformation as a Senior Research Fellow. He is also a Fellow at the International Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS) and Editor of the Ghanaian Journal of Economics. William has consulted with both local and international organizations, including the World Bank, International Labour Organization (ILO) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and was advisor to the Ghanaian Ministry of Labour for five years. His areas of research include labour market analysis and institutions, small and medium enterprise development, gender, poverty, macroeconomics and development economics.
