Jean Philbert Nsengimana is the Minister of Youth and ICT for the Republic of Rwanda. He is a strong believer in the combined power of youth and technology to resolve Africa’s current socio-economic challenges and strengthen the foundation for peace and prosperity for future generations. Jean Philbert is among the pioneers of the Smart Africa Alliance and the Transform Africa Summit, two platforms bringing together African governments, private sector partners and international organizations to accelerate Africa's digital transformation. He spearheaded the YouthConnekt initiative which connects youth to role models, resources, skills, and civic and economic empowerment opportunities. Jean Philbert holds a Global Master of Business Administration from S P Jain School of Global Management Dubai-Singapore and a Master of Information and Communications Technology from the National University of Rwanda. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Councils.
