Grace Wanene

Founder, Youth Agro-Environmental Initiative
Grace Wanene is currently a student at Kenyatta University pursuing a Master of Science in Dryland Agriculture. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Egerton University and is the Chairperson of the Youth Agro-Environment Initiative, a community-based organization that she co-founded in 2011. The initiative encourages youth to get involved in agriculture, more specifically on-farm production, by providing training and establishing demonstration farms.
