Carol Kazooka is an ICT specialist with a background in information systems management, monitoring and evaluation, microfinance institutions and business development. Carol has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and holds a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales. Market-led, User-owned ICT4AG-enabled Information Service (MUIIS) is an innovative ICT for agriculture project that harnesses the power of satellite data to support extension and advisory services to farmers in Uganda. Carol has worked as a Program Director for the Agri-Fin Mobile Program under Mercy Corps that supports agri-advisory services and financial literacy through mobile platforms. She was also a strategy and partnerships specialist at Grameen Foundation. Carol has a passion for mobile technology's ability to transform the agriculture and finance sectors.
